Members of the Faculty of Economics, University of Niš (FEUN) and the UR-WISE project team participated in the regional information session “Unlocking Opportunities in the Western Balkans: A Regional Dialogue on Advancing Business Education,” held on 16 February 2026 at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo.
The event was organised by AACSB International, the world’s leading global accreditation body and standard-setting association for business education, connecting more than 2,000 member organisations and over 1,000 accredited schools across 100+ countries.
Participation in this high-level regional dialogue provided an important opportunity for FEUN to engage directly with AACSB representatives and peer institutions from the Western Balkans, discussing pathways toward strengthening quality standards, international visibility, and institutional development. For FEUN and UR-WISE, engagement in this process aligns closely with ongoing efforts to advance research excellence, modernise curricula, and deepen integration within the European and global higher education landscape.
For the UR-WISE project, participation in this dialogue reinforces its broader institutional transformation agenda: supporting capacity building, international networking, and alignment with global standards of research and education excellence.
By engaging with AACSB’s accreditation ecosystem and regional partners, FEUN continues to position itself as a forward-looking institution committed to innovation, quality assurance, and policy-relevant knowledge production in urban and regional development.
